 Judge Jennifer Wells is dedicated to serving the community with fairness and integrity. Appointed by Governor Josh Stein to the 1st Judicial District, she brings years of experience as a Public Defender to the bench. Judge Jenny is committed to ensuring justice for all residents of Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans Counties. Born in Elizabeth City and raised in Kitty Hawk, her deep roots in the community and her passion for justice make her a trusted and respected figure in the courtroom.
